4. Website Tools - wix

This website has been created with wix.

a) Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties

Wix may share your personal information with (or provide access to) third parties, but only in the following manners and cases:

1.  Third party services
1.1 Wix works with a number of selected service providers whose services and solutions enhance, simplify and improve ours. These include hosting and server co-location services, communication and content delivery networks (CDN), data and cyber security services, billing, payment transactions, domain name registration, fraud detection and prevention, web analytics, email distribution and monitoring, session recording and remote access, performance assessment, data optimization and marketing services, content providers as well as our legal and financial advisors (collectively "Third Party Services").
Such Third Party Services may obtain, from us or from others, depending on their role and purpose in providing and improving our services and our business, full or partial access to personal data regarding our visitors, users and/or end-users, which they may use solely for such purposes. Please note that although our services may contain links to other websites or services, we are not responsible for the data protection policies of such websites or service providers. With this in mind, we encourage you to read the data protection information of all such websites and services that you visit when you leave our website before providing your personal data. This Data Protection Policy does not apply to such linked third-party websites and services.
Wix is responsible for personal information that it receives as part of the Privacy Shield and subsequently discloses to third parties as described in the Privacy Shield Policies. In particular, Wix will remain responsible and liable in accordance with the Privacy Shield Policies in the event that third parties entrusted by Wix with the processing of personal data on its behalf do so in a manner that does not comply with the Policies, unless Wix can prove that Wix was not responsible for the cause of the breach.
We may share our visitors', users' and end-users' information with various third parties, including certain service providers, law enforcement agencies and software developers.
The data may only be shared in accordance with this policy.

1.2. Legal enforcement, requests from authorities and obligations
To the extent permitted by local data protection laws, Wix may disclose or otherwise provide access to your personal information to third parties upon request by a governmental authority, for example, in response to a subpoena, court proceeding, search warrant or court order, or if otherwise required by applicable law, if we believe in good faith that we are required to do so by law, and if necessary, without informing you.

1.3. Protection of rights and security
Wix may disclose your personal information to others when we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Wix, of our users or of our end-users, or of a member of the general public, if necessary, without informing you.

1.4. Features of social media and sites with frames
Our services include certain features and widgets, single sign-on social media features, such as the "Facebook Connect" or "Google sign-in" button, the "Facebook Like" button, the "Share" button or other interactive mini-programs ("Social Media Features"). These social media features may collect information such as your IP address or sites you visit on our website and may set a cookie to ensure their full functionality. Social Media features are either hosted by a third party or directly by us. Your interactions with such third-party social media features are subject to their policies and not ours.
Furthermore, our services may allow you to share your personal information directly with third parties, for example via page-framing techniques, to provide or obtain content from third parties or other parties while maintaining the appearance and design of our website and services ("Frames"). Please note that if you choose to share personal information or interact via such frames, you are providing that information to said third parties and not to us, so such interaction and sharing of information is also subject to the policies of said third parties and not ours.

1.5. App Market Developer
As part of our App Market Program, we allow third party developers ("Third Party Developers") to develop and offer their own applications via the Wix App Market ("Third Party App(s)") in association with Wix.
Each Third Party Developer must abide to the Wix App Market Partner Program Agreement, which contains, among other conditions, restrictions on the access, storage and use of the non-personal and personal information that you and/or your end-users provide to us. We encourage you to carefully read the data protection policies of third party Apps and contact the respective third party developer for any additional explanations you may need before deciding to install and use the third party Apps. Wix has no control over and is not liable for the actions or policies of third party developers, so you use any third-party apps at your own risk.

1.6. Wix apps and/or third party apps
By installing certain Wix apps and/or third party apps, you also grant the respective provider permission to share and/or access certain non-personal and personal information about you and/or your end-users. For more information regarding the personal information that may be collected and shared, please refer to the Wix App Market Terms of Use.
In order to better protect both your and your end-users' personal data, all Third Party Developers must contractually agree not to link personal data collected across user websites and user services and not to share any end-users' personal data except with other apps installed on the same user website or user services for the specific purposes of the user website or user services. However, Wix may still access and use data collected and stored across multiple user sites if it is necessary in order to provide and improve our services.
You are solely responsible for informing your end-users about the processing and use of their personal data and for informing them that their personal data will be transmitted to and processed by Wix on your behalf.
In order to prevent your personal data from being collected or shared, you can either avoid installing apps on your user website, revoke the permissions granted for installed apps, or simply uninstall them. However, we would like to point out that previously installed apps may still store certain data that was collected before the revocation, so we recommend that you contact Wix or the relevant third party developers directly if you want such data to be deleted.

1.7. Wix subsidiaries and partner companies
We may share your personal information internally within our corporate family for the purposes set out in this Data Protection Policy. For example, in the course of providing our services to you (and your end-users), we share your personal information with Wix.com Inc, our subsidiary based in the United States. In the event of a change in the management of Wix or any of its affiliates, for example as a result of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of their assets, your personal information will be transferred to the parties involved as necessary. If we believe in good faith that such a change in management will have a significant effect on your personal information which we have stored, we will notify you via email and/or a clearly visible notice on our website, as well as via the alternatives available to you regarding your personal information in this regard. The transfer of personal data from Wix's subsidiaries and affiliates in the European Union and Switzerland to a Wix subsidiary in the United States will be in accordance with the EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield Agreement.
For clarity - Wix may also share your personal information in circumstances other than those described above, provided that you have either explicitly consented to this or that we are required by law to do so. In addition, Wix may share, distribute, disclose or otherwise use non-personal information at its discretion and without the need for further consent.

b) Questions and complaints

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding wix's collection, use, or disclosure of personal information, or if you believe that wix has not adhered to this Data Protection Policy or applicable Data Protection Laws, please contact wix - the contact details are provided at the end of this Data Protection Policy. Our data protection team will investigate the complaint and determine whether a violation has occurred and if so, what action should be taken. We take any data protection complaint seriously and will make appropriate efforts to resolve your complaint immediately. Our aim is to respond within 30 days. We expect that our procedure will deal with your complaint fairly and within a reasonable time frame. However, should you not be satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Although you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority at any time, we recommend that you first contact wix so that we can try to resolve it.

c) Data storage

Wix may store your personal data (as well as information from your end-users) for as long as your user account is active, as specified in this Data Protection Policy or as otherwise required in order to provide you with our services.
Wix may also retain such personal information after the deactivation of your user account and/or after your use of a particular service to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes regarding our users or their end-users, to prevent fraud and abuse, to carry through our contracts and/or to protect our legitimate interests.
Wix has a data storage policy which is applicable to the data stored at wix. When the storage of your personal data is no longer necessary, we ensure its reliable deletion.

d) Security
Wix uses physical, electronic and procedural security measures to protect the personal information you share with wix. Amongst other measures, wix provides secure HTTPS access to most areas of its services; the transmission of confidential payment information (such as credit card numbers) using relevant order forms is protected by an industry-standard SSL/TLS encrypted connection and wix regularly renews our PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) certification. Furthermore, wix regularly checks the systems for possible weak points and hacks and is constantly on the search for new procedures and third party providers in order to further improve the security of its services and the protection of the data of visitors and users.
Despite the measures and efforts taken by wix, no absolute protection and security of personal data of visitors to the website and any other information you upload, publish or otherwise share with wix or other parties can be guaranteed. For this reason, we ask you to create secure passwords for your user account and user website and not to provide us or others with any confidential information, the disclosure of which you believe could cause you significant or lasting harm. In addition, since certain areas of wix's services are less secure than others (for example, if you set your support forum ticket to "public" instead of "private" or browse a non-SSL site) and since e-mail and instant messaging are not recognized as a secure means of communication, we urge you not to transmit any personal information to wix via these areas or by these means. If you have any questions regarding the security of our services, please contact wix at privacy@wix.com.
